140th Anniversary Open House in Norridgewock
On September 16th, Skowhegan Savings continued to celebrate the Bank's 140th birthday with a party at the Norridgewock branch office. Guests enjoyed barbequed hamburgers and hot dogs, music from local band, FATE, and birthday cake. Guests also brought stuffed toys for the Norridgewock Holiday Giving Tree Program.
140th Anniversary Open House in Madison
On August 25, Skowhegan Savings continued to celebrate the Bank's 140th birthday with a party at the Madison branch office. Despite the rainy weather, guests enjoyed barbequed hamburgers and hot dogs, visits from Trusty Tree and Penny Pine Cone and birthday cake. Guests who brought an item of food for the local food pantry got a chance to "sink a banker" in the dunk tank.

On August 5, Skowhegan Savings continued to celebrate the Bank's 140th birthday with a party at the Dexter branch office. People enjoyed barbequed hamburgers and hot dogs, music from the Dexter Community Band and birthday cake.
140th Anniversary Open House in Pittsfield
On July 21, Skowhegan Savings continued to celebrate the Bank's 140th birthday with a party at the Pittsfield branch office. People enjoyed barbequed hamburgers and hot dogs, a clown who made balloon animals, face painting and birthday cake.
140th Anniversary Open House in Belgrade
On June 10th, Skowhegan Savings continued to celebrate the Bank's 140th birthday with a party at the Community Center for All Seasons in Belgrade. People enjoyed fine food, a DJ, birthday cake and visits from mascots Trusty Tree and Penny Pine Cone.

On May 19, 2010 Skowhegan Savings continued to celebrate the Bank's 140th birthday with a cook-out and celebration at the branch office in Bingham. The rainy weather didn't dampen people's spirits as they enjoyed hot dogs, hamburgers, face painting, birthday cake and visits from mascots Trusty Tree and Penny Pine Cone.

On January 20, 2010 Skowhegan Savings continued to celebrate the Bank's 140th birthday with a business after-hours event at the Fairfield branch that was co-hosted with the Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce. Guests enjoyed fine food and drink, birthday cake and visits from mascots Trusty Tree and Penny Pine Cone.
Customer Appreciation Day at Saddleback Maine
On March 26, 2010, Skowhegan Savings teamed up with Saddleback Maine to offer bank customers a free lift ticket and lunch at one of New England’s premier family resorts with 66 groomed trails and glades for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. Despite some brisk breezes, the sun shone, there was fresh snow on the mountain and the event was enjoyed by everyone – including Trusty Tree and Penny Pine Cone.

We'll be celebrating our 140th Anniversary throughout the year, so stay tuned for events and special promotions. This year also marks the 120th Anniversary for the Skowhegan Free Public Library, our neighbor institution also founded by former Maine Governor and Skowhegan resident, Abner Coburn.
