These new cards offer the same functionality and can be used at any merchant location or for mail, telephone and internet transactions.

What are the advantages of my flat ATM/Debit MasterCard?
- Your new ATM/Debit MasterCard can be received faster (same day in Skowhegan if desired) since we now print them.
- You may select an image from our photo library to be printed on your new card.
- You may re-establish a forgotten PIN at a branch location and no longer have to wait for a PIN to be received by mail.
Are there any disadvantages to my flat card?
No, your new flat Debit MasterCard offers the same functionality and security features as a traditional embossed card.
Can I use my new Skowhegan Savings Debit MasterCard in all the same locations?
Yes, there are no changes to the use of your card. It can be accepted by all retailers, gas stations, restaurants, etc.
Can I use my new Debit MasterCard at the ATM?
Yes, your Debit MasterCard also serves as your ATM card. With your PIN, you may conduct transactions at an ATM.
Will not having raised numbers on my ATM/Debit MasterCard ever be a problem?
No, your card may be used for purchases by swiping through a card processing terminal or by hand keying the card number for telephone or internet purchases and transactions. The card number does not need to be raised for these transactions.
Will supermarkets and retail stores think my new Debit MasterCard is fake?
If a retailer is unfamiliar with flat cards, simply assure them that it is a new style card and have them process your purchase as usual.
Can I have my own photo on my new flat card?
Unfortunately, only images from our photo library may be printed on cards.
What pictures can I choose from?
We offer 8 designs, many which feature local scenery and attractions. Click here to view all available flatcard pictures. If you do not choose an image, our default logo image will be printed.
Where can I get my new Skowhegan Savings flat card?
You may order your new card at any branch location, however orders placed at our main office in Skowhegan will instantly be printed and you will leave with your new card. Cards ordered at other branch locations will be processed within 2-3 business days and be mailed to you.
When will I receive my new card?
Applications returned in person to our main office branch in Skowhegan will be processed immediately and you will leave with your new card. (Applications presented on behalf of any customer cannot be processed immediately.) Applications mailed or delivered to other branch locations will be processed within 2-3 business days and your new card and PIN will be mailed to you.
When will I get my PIN?
If you completed your application at a branch location, you may have selected a customized PIN. Your selected PIN is activated when your card is printed. If you did not select a PIN or mailed your application, you will receive a PIN by mail. It will be mailed separate from your new card in an unmarked envelope for security purposes.
How do I change my PIN?
You may visit any Skowhegan Savings branch office or ATM to change your PIN. If you have forgotten your PIN, simply visit a branch office or contact customer service.
Are there any fees for the new flat, unembossed ATM/Debit MasterCard?
No, there are no fees to receive a new flat card. Cards may be used free of charge at retailers and participating Cash Access ATM locations (link cash access info) statewide. (Replacement or cancellation fees may apply when applicable.)
Can I have more than one ATM/Debit MasterCard?
No, only one card is issued per customer. You may link several checking and/or savings accounts to one card for convenient access to multiple accounts.
What happens if I lose my ATM/Debit MasterCard?
Contact us immediately to cancel the card by calling 800.303.9511. (Card cancellation fee may apply.) You will need to sign a new application to receive a new card.
